In a shocking case, father of a married girl was arrested by police in Mendhar area of Poonch district for allegedly raping and having Illicit relationship with her from her childhood.

Official sources told news agency GNS that following a complaint by Akhlaq Ahmad, the husband of girl (name withheld) and his father, police arrested Abdul Hameed from Kala Bhan Mendhar for raping and also having Illicit relationship with his daughter.

Revealing details, official sources informed that Abdul Hameed was raping his daughter since her childhood days and later on both developed an Illicit relationship. Shockingly, the girl has done abortion thrice at District Hospital Poonch as a nurse was in league with his father.

The sources further revealed that the girl was married to Akhlaq five months ago but she was continuing her Illicit relationship with her father. “The whole matter came to fore after her husband noticed her talking continously on mobile phone and after checking the phone the recordings of her conversation with her father shocked all,” they said.

Subsequently, sources said, the husband of the lady along with his father lodged a complaint against Abdul Hameed. After receiving complaint, police party led by SHO Mendhar Dileep Singh Baloria arrested Hameed from his home. A case FIR number 194 under sections 343,376 has been registered.

SHO Mendhar told GNS that further investigation into case has been started while after conducting medical test of girl, her relation with Hameed has been confirmed. Locals meanwhile hailed police for taking action Hameed who is a daily wager in PHE department and also an active worker of an opposition political party.
